Chapter 16 question (Steph)
in the beginning of the chapter, szpilman wakes up in the house. He describes the circumstances he is in and whats going on the filthiness and the dead bodies. If you were placed in such circumstances, how would it make you feel? Or in other words, how would you cope with all of it?

I think that I would cope with it all by just shutting off my emotions, I would try and not meet new people and become attached because you never know if they will be alive and how long. I think that writing everything down may also help, so that I can get my feelings out about everything and share it with others.
ReplyDeleteI would try to cope with it by not really thinking about everything that has happened to me so far. I would also try to not think about anything that could also possibly happen to me. I would just think about what to do in the moment in order for me to stay alive and away from the Germans.
